Local Young Singer Songwriter Arranges and Records Christmas CD in support of Indian Orphanage

Steven Musso, a recent '09 graduate of Shaker High School in Latham, NY is currently a freshman at The College of Saint Rose, working towards a degree in vocal music education.

Since the age of 5, Steven has been involved in music, taking private voice, piano, and guitar lessons, participating in school choral and instrumental groups, and composing music. He also serves as the worship leader and choir director at City Harvest Family Church in Albany. Steven has participated in foreign mission trips to Guatemala and Zambia, giving him a first hand experience with those who are less fortunate.

Steven has just completed a Christmas recording project entitled “Holy Night.” The CD features traditional Christmas melodies arranged in modern styles along with an original song by Steven.

50% of every purchase will go to support an orphanage in Visakhapatnam, India. The orphanage houses, clothes, and feeds over 400 children and is growing rapidly. It is the only source of education available for these children. It also provides a safe place to sleep for the homeless adults in Visakhapatnam. This orphanage has few resources and very little support for the generous work they do.
